Fireworks in the Darkness: Mutual Aid During the COVID-19 Crisis is an inspiring and thought-provoking book that examines the power of mutual aid during the pandemic. Drawing on a wide range of case studies, the book demonstrates how people came together to support each other in times of need, and how this spirit of collaboration and cooperation can help us rebuild and reimagine society in the aftermath of the crisis.

The book is divided into four parts, each of which explores a different aspect of mutual aid. The first part, "The Power of People," looks at the ways in which people have come together to support each other during the pandemic. The second part, "The Power of Communities," examines the role of communities in providing mutual aid and support. The third part, "The Power of Solidarity," looks at the ways in which mutual aid can help us build solidarity and create a more just and equitable society. The fourth part, "The Power of Hope," examines the role of hope in sustaining mutual aid efforts and inspiring us to continue working for a better future.
