About the Authors

Professor Edward J. Holland, MD, FRCS, FRCOphth, is a world-renowned ophthalmologist and corneal specialist. He is the Director of the Cornea and External Eye Disease Service at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London and a Professor of Ophthalmology at University College London. Dr. Holland has authored over 500 scientific publications and is the recipient of numerous awards and honors for his contributions to the field of ophthalmology.

Professor James T. Rosenbaum, MD, is a distinguished ophthalmologist and corneal surgeon. He is the Director of the Cornea Service at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and a Professor of Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Rosenbaum is internationally recognized for his expertise in corneal transplantation and has authored over 300 scientific publications. He is a past president of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
